About Her
Mei Lei Verano (she/they) is a Filipino artist and a scholar pursuing Bachelor of Science in Architecture.In 2022, She published her compilation of poetry entitled ‘Around the Torches’ under the Chapters of Love Indie Publishing House.Driven to be a catalyst for change, Mei focuses on curating safe spaces for children, preserving the environment, and amplify the voices of indigenous tribes across the Philippine archipelago. She actively supports and joins NGOs with central movement for the youth, environment and culture.𓇼
